Outdoor Accessibility Fair
EAGLE, Idaho — Idaho for All, in partnership with Idaho State Parks, will host an Outdoor Accessibility Fair and Adaptive Equipment Launch on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Eagle Island State Park.
The free, family-friendly community event will celebrate expanded accessibility and inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities throughout Idaho. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about adaptive recreation resources, connect with organizations from across the state, and experience adaptive recreational equipment firsthand — including the opportunity to try Trackchairs and adaptive Rigs on the trails at Eagle Island State Park.
The event will feature informational booths and community resources from organizations focused on accessibility, disability support services, adaptive recreation, independent living, rehabilitation, and outdoor inclusion.
Participating organizations include:
Idaho for All
Idaho State Parks
Challenged Athletes Foundation
University of Idaho
Encircle Rec
LINC
Advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics
Idaho Access Project
BASE
Higher Ground USA
“This event is about ensuring everyone can enjoy Idaho’s natural beauty,” said Nikeela Abrams, founder of Idaho for All. “We want individuals and families to see firsthand that adaptive recreation opportunities exist and that accessibility and adventure can go hand-in-hand.”
Idaho for All recently partnered with Idaho State Parks to place adaptive recreational equipment — including Trackchairs and adaptive Rigs — within Idaho State Parks for public use. The equipment is designed to help individuals with mobility limitations access trails and outdoor spaces that may otherwise be difficult or impossible to navigate.
